I need to get you out here in the desert with me, there is an area halfway to the lake that is amazing for star gazing. Middle of nowhere so there are no lights to dull the sky, you can even see the Milky Way on a really good night. I sense a camp out coming on. 😖hifty:

i could see the milky way in maine laying out on the dock, it was aweosme, we say shooting stars and satellites

But I think the most amazing thing I've experienced, well at least in this topic at hand, was sleeping out doors. Under this giant tree and watching the wind rustle its enormous branches. The wind was so cool under there. We had those box like net thingys over our beds...I fell alseep listening to the leaves rustling above me. it.was.awesome. 😄

I did something similar to that a couple of years back. I layed under a tree in windy weather, while the sun set.......it was really something.
