SAW vs HOSTEL

Both movies, IMO are severely overrated. Hostel was better than Saw, though. At least it had some good, albeit few, gore scenes.

Hostel, the acting put me off saw but saw 2 beats hostel

Saw, Hostel is an soulless gorefest with no plot (I realize that some poeple like it because of this)

LOL....and Saw is pack with intricate plot and well developed characters right?

Someone said that SAW was way overrated and i cosign that.

If you had asked me a couple months ago, I would've probably chosen Saw. However, that franchise is getting so mainstream that I'd have to go with Hostel. I can't wait for the sequel.

but I'm going to say saw because hostel didn't have a storyline which is stupid not to have it makes the movie boring and confusing, but the gore was good.

Saw by a mile, reason behind my choice is simple it's a better horror movie instead of torture movie, sure Saw gives them torture and such but on the whole it's a more pyshcological horror.

First off, let me say that I liked them both, but since this is a poll, I gotta choose. Im leaning towards Saw because, through the violence, it still had a strong story. It had characters that were any and everything but what they were supposed to be, it had a genuine villian, and it had Carey Elwes going batshit and chopping off his own foot. Hostel had a lot of meat and sauce, but Saw had meat, sauce, and dessert.
