Clovie said it in a negative manner, because she was upset about something. I didn't want to be dragged into anything just because she was irritated, and her calling the panel biased just because she felt left out wasn't fair. I have reason to believe you are, toward Bardock. This is by no means a bad thing at all, I think he's a reasonably passable human being, despite being German.
I just think it's a bit odd that you'd say you don't like being biased if you have a clear bias toward the man. Like Hitler saying "I don't appreciate being called anti-semetic.".

Well, these things are biased, because the candidates contain only the well known and votes are cast due to who you like the most, aren't they?
Don't get me wrong, I've got no problem with these awards things. It's not hurting anyone, but let's not kid ourselves as to what they are.
