The Phrase that Pays
Full Name: Sunny Bridget Ward
Nickname: Sunny, Sunshine
Height: 5'6''
Weight: 117 lbs
Hair: Shoulder-length with choppy layers and a long sweeping bang that usually covers one eye, a dark blonde with bleached (and the occasional random color) highlights. It's a little frizzy from constantly being in the pool, chlorine, and sun, but never fear...she does shower.
Eyes: Almost a turquoise blue that fades to a light green around the pupil, she doesn't wear a lot of makeup, but never goes out without wearing her black eyeliner.
Style: Simply her own. She wears an eclectic mix of punk, prep, and whatever she finds at the salvation army store. She has been called a 'tomboy' more than once, but other's opinions on her style do not matter to her. Her ear's are triple pierced and has been recently seen sporting a new lip ring that she had pierced herself. A silver chain hangs around her neck at all times which holds several charms, each holding its own meaning to Sunny. (The charms include a miniature key Sunny likes to call it her key to her own little world, a silver heart that was given to her by her mother, and a cross because of religious reasons.)
Social Group: Mostly with her swim team friends, but is open to almost everyone. Sunny has more friends that are boys than girls, she finds them easier to be with (but it does have its consequences).
Music: Sunny has a very large range of music that she enjoys, but her favorites are usually hard rock, alternative, 'emo,' and the occasional showtune. She hates country music... a lot. She can listen to a few rap or hip-hop songs, but what's music without a little hard-core screaming? Sunny loves to play an old acoustic guitar that she had to teach herself how to play.
Sports: She lives to swim.
Personality: Sunny is a very energetic person and is even more independent. She gets excited easily and usually is always smiling. Sarcasm is her best friend, and she uses it often. She likes to make smart ass comments just to see other peoples reactions. Her pet peeves include typo's, spelling mistakes, and people who don't know the difference between your and you're. No, Sunny and Cher jokes aren't funny, neither are questions such as "Why didn't your parents name you Rainy?" Practically being the definition of randomness, Sunny is bubbly and bright and no pun needed. She is well known around the school, mostly because of her name, attempt to climb the cliff by the school, and her senior prank. Her experiences with boys have been pretty much all the same, all ending with a mutual agreement to break up. But Sunny knows there is someone out there for her. She can be annoyingly intelligent, even when she tries to be modest about her straight A's.
Personal History: She has lived a pretty much normal life of any other average 18 year old, and is anxiously awaiting graduation day so she can finally get out of this small town. Her pranks have been very random but also effective. Although she did get busted for leading the senior class in the 'Venice Forking' (putting thousands of plastic forks all over the schools courtyard), she hasn't gotten in much other trouble since.
But not everything in Sunny's life has been oodles of fun. Her sophomore year her father had passed away in a car accident as he was coming home from work to pick her up for a swim meet. And then some time later during the summer months, she lost her mother after a long fight against cancer. Sunny rarely ever talks about her deceased parents, as most people wouldn't, but for some reason it's always a pressed question. Now living with her loving grandparents and 13 year old brother, life really hasn't been all that too bad for Sunny Ward. And of course...
Everyday is Sunny at Venice Beach High!
