I finally did it!

I got my tongue pierced today. 😊

I've almost ripped it out twice already, discovering that I need more practice before I poke my tongue out at anyone. This is also the reason I couldn't get a better picture...

But I'm really quite pleased - it wasn't in the least bit traumatic (I was nervous as it's my first piercing besides my ears) & best of all, it's purple! 😄

woot! I use to have that too 😊 it was cool until I chipped a tooth in the back 🙂

I still have a tiny scar on my tongue

yea... it's weird cause it doesnt hurt at all when they are jabbing that huge needle through your tongue -- but afterwards... your tongue swells up and its painful 🙂

Hehe, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. But I never do anything out of the ordinary & I thought, well, why not? & if I really don't like it, I can just take it out. Having a bit of a hole in my tongue doesn't really bother me. 😊

This isn't out of the ordinary either...it's what a lot of people do that wants to be "different".
