The New MM

Does anyone like the direction that the new Martian Manhunter is going? It would be fun to see MM go ballistic for once and show off his true power (without that who inferno possession thing).

I just read MM #1 today, and I really liked it. I've never had anything against MM (except his old costume), but now I'm really interested. I'm kinda hopin he's gonna go ballistic on the dudes that did you know what to you know who.

New MM eh? Sounds interesting.

He's got a sweet new costume and everything.

This issue just made me feel like J'onn is getting ready to take an ass whooping from Superman.

I'm looking forward to seeing how many martians there are out there. And what would they do if they all regrouped... Try to repopulate another planet? Try and fit in on Earth (with or without morphing)? Destroy all humans? I pick the last option. I can easily see a group of ten martians (who are all communicating telepathically) give all the heroes on earth a run for their money.

I'm thinking a showdown with the JLA is inevitable, probably with J'onn stuck in the middle choosing between his adopted family (JLA) and his own species.

Agreed. Should be interesting.

I'm kinda wishing he'd keep the new costume but go back to having his old not-pointy head. I was never a big fan of the reverse suspenders and speedo costume, but he was still badass.

i'm guessing felt spiteful is all so he broke it.

I love the new costume. His old costume always sucked. If they could give Amazo a new costume that would be cool.

Wouldn't most of the JLA be susceptible to the martians telepathic abilities?
