No that arc 😐

Have I been mislead?

They could have been temporal copies, even weaker than the originals in space as they were created in the last issue of Vol.3.

You were, as interviews state all of AF wasn't destroyed and this was done to create a new Alpha Flight series during the Civil War with american based heroes who flee from the crisis in America

The New Avengers ark or them going to space? as them going to space is in continuity and once again mentioned in the handbook

The NA arc.

Seriously, giving Magneto back his powers and bringing Xorn back into continuity?!? 🤨

Worst arc ever ✅

So now we're trusting handbooks? 💃

Not the stats, but the bio part. It makes mention of the temporal copies and the team in space, so it's not like I'm simply relying on the handbooks when it happened in the comics.

It's not a big deal, hell I thought they were a joke until I started to read their series just this year. I'm a newbie to Alpha Flight and shocked by their power...gotta respect a group that routinely goes against Skyfather beings, beaten Galactus, and saved the multi-verse

For those unfamiliar with the temporal copies:

Alpha Flight #12 [Vol.3]- In the final issue of volume 3, Sasquatch uses Nemesis's sword to send him into the past. He sees Yukon Jack who prior was sent back in time with her sword as well. He just finished killing Omega Flight [scans shown earlier] and Alpha Flight has just arrived. Shaman is then approached by Sasquatch and with his powers freezes time. He then pulls out those coins, which eventually sends the past Alpha Flight to the present. While the real ALpha FLight from the present are currently in space rebuilding a cilvilization. Confusing I know, but seriously how you not respect Shaman?

Didn't you say some stuff in the bios was incorrect?

Yep many things, but unlike those times the bio actually coincides with what was stated and shown in the comics.

Also to note: Guardian, Puck and Sasquatch all appeared on the Civil War poster indicating they are members of the group that possibly survived. AF is suppose to play a large and crucial war in the mini

Reader “matt983”: In Civil War #1, it was said that the capekiller teams would be armed with tranquilizers, and not real bullets. But in subsequent issues, it seems like they've been using live rounds (against Cap in New Avengers, and against Patriot in Civil War #2, before they knew he was bulletproof). Even in Civil War #3, after Wiccan and Cloak are tranquilized, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent talking to Spider-Man seems to be aiming a gun with real ammunition.

So my question is, what brought about the escalation from "tranq and retain" to "shoot to kill?"

JQ: Come on now, matt983, ol’ buddy, I think you're reading into things.

"Seems to be aiming a gun with real ammunition"?

In Civil War #2, the order is very specifically given and followed through on in regards to Patriot: tranquilizers, and minimum force. Similarly, there's not one word in New Avengers #21 that indicates that the shots the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are firing are actual rounds.

Which of course brings up the question whether or not Alpha Flight is really dead?
