That's actually not true. Thor has other powers besides the Godblast and we've seen he's capable of briefly removing the connection between Cain and Cyttorak.

Yeah i forgot, He did cut off his power, strange thing is he only did if for 60 seconds right? Why couldnt he cast the spell again?

I can't remember exactly. Chances are it has something to do with the fact that if Thor is using his hammer for more than wacking or throwing, something's not right.
