That's the irony of it. As much as people love to call me and others ego-driven, there are people here with profiles that could choke you to death, if being smug was a gas, like in South Park.

Everyone has an ego, their's are just huge.

No, because they need the ego boost to keep themselves afloat.

Yeah, but there's nothign wrong with it...if they don't deny it, whatever floats their boat, right?

Most of the ones that have those profiles also take stabs at others for having ego's. Also, ego's are ****ing annoying (Especially the big ones). Whatever floats their boat sinks my ****ing battleship.

It doesn't hurt anyone, which is why I'm not against these threads as some people are.

I just never get the mentality of doing such a thing, I see no point. Who are you showing the quotes off to? What's the achievement? "Look, this internet user thinks I'm funny."?

Well, I encountered both Internet Users and Real Life people and I have to say...I don't see the big difference.

Why should Bloigen be up there?

For one I value him. For another bloody bows1 values him. The first reason is of course much more important.

Neither do I. What's the achievement in some random human saying something good about you, especially on something like a messageboard?

-AC

I value him too, I just have to catch him so that I can sell him and get the value of him. 😛

Ego-boost for people that don't know a lot of people IRL? *shrug*

That's precisely why I ask, because I don't know, though I'd assume that's why.

Certainly not much of an achievement (well, then again you need some skill to make people like you...), but if it makes you feel good, for whatever reason ever, I don't see something bad about it.

It's better to be able to achieve it with people you know in person, but I guess even better if you can do both.

EDIT: To me at least.
