Read that back. You said that the topic is if things are illegal in our opinion...but opinion doesn't decide what is legal and what isn't.
You can have an opinion on what SHOULD be legal or should be illegal, but if something IS illegal, then that's it. It's illegal, and using it/doing it is a crime. Such as illegal downloading.
You said you don't consider it a crime, that it was my opinion that it was a crime. I factually proved that it's a crime under federal legislation, so you switched to saying: "No I mean I don't think it SHOULD be illegal.".
