Hey Everybody, I'm back from NYC, and I had a fabulous time! I sang at Carnegie Hall and it was amazing! I also saw Wicked, my favorite musical of all time, but I never got to see Pirates. When I came bad, I read some reviews, and they were bad. My friend, who is super crazy over Pirates, told me that she wants her money back.
I'm going to see the movie, obviously, but I'm sad. The movie had such high expectations, everyone expected a masterpiece, or at least they hoped for one, and apparently we didn't get it. From what I read it seems like they knew everyone expected a great, classic, timeless story with all the humor and character development as the previous along with the loose ends that were cleaned up. The movie was obviously a challenge, and I believe that in that stressful job of making the movie, they went over the top with the plot and focused on the wrong things. I have heard that not everything gets cleaned up. I'm not of course, saying this from first hand experience, because i haven't seen the movie.
All I'm hoping for is that, if all else fails, they keep the basic life of the Pirates movies in this sequel. As long as I'm watching the Pirates, I'm good. You guys have lowered my expectations so much, that I'm completely convinced I will enjoy the movie.
His heart works like it's in his body. Minus the feelings part. So if you stab the heart, Davy dies. And he doesn't want to die that's why they were threatening to stab the heart if he didn't do as they say.
And the closer the heart is to him the more he feels. That's why he said "I will not have that infernal thing on my ship!" or something like that.
