And I found out the worse news....the strep throat virus is in my kidneys....but I think we caught it pretty early.

How do you get strep throat in your kidneys?

the strep virus was still in my blood stream and it went to my kidneys.

Dear Nananmi--take care sweetpea--I haven't been here before, but your news about Strep is vicious--dadblame--I had this unfortunate strep attacked my face and chin last year--my face went nuts, one side got really large and thank goodness they found meds to stop it. I'm allegergic to penicillin so they couldn't use that. Strep ain't no playdate. Be safe be happy again very soon, you are in my prayers if you will accept that.

Dear PotCfan2003, if you're asking me--yeah, except I get to be very careful anymore becos it weakens your immune system (means you can get it more easily) and it wasn't much fun having half my face grow really big in about 18 hours. I had these really really big lips and jaw. not cool.

about Nanami XIV, the deal happening seems a lot more serious. Kidneys are your friend, you got two, you can live with one. You can cure it with antibiotics--you just gotta stay religious to the treatment regime. None of the quitting when you feel better--take all your drugs.

With JD's child who was so very ill, I've read that her kidneys were very damaged and she may eventually face a transplant situation. Streph is not a nice disease and it is not a cold or sinus infection. It'll kill or damage you to the point it's serious. Also, get your tetnus shots--seems dumb but people do still die from it. Anyway, yucky enough--no more yucky--just wellness. Sorry, didn't mean to dwell....thanks for asking
