oh yeah! I just love GD, even if some say they became too commercial, I still think they have a voice

They sold out... they don't have a voice, they damn the government with no evidence to support their statements...

well, I think they do, you cant not have a voice because I believe you always have and opinion on things.
Some governments are crappy, and some are ok I guess, but not all GD songs are about polititians, theyre some other good ones, at least I think so, I like the lyrics, and the rythm, and well, I do see some evidence tu support their statements...some governments just dont seem fair to me
I say lets not turn this into a political debate, because every person thinks different, my tastes wont change just because someone says something, theyll only change when I stop believing in them, its all about human diversity..

No but the point I'm making is that Green Day are only bashing their government because it seems fashionable.

It was an analogy.

I'm saying there's nothing wrong with being a n00b, just like there's nothing wrong with being black. However, since a minority of the noob/black population has done some bad/stupid things, people enlist a sterotype, thinking all noobs/blacks are bad. SImple analogy really. Nothing offensive.

Like a blonde being dumb... ๐Ÿ˜–hifty:

well, I think they bash things on society that dont seem right to them, but thats inside their minds, so, they bash war because of Irak, it was completely pointless and it ended so many lifes..and think about this, you dont have to believe it, but just think..how do you think their message would get to society, if they wont play their songs on the radio, who will hear them? theyre trying to make people think and loom at the world the way they do, maybe its not the best way, but they are trying to show the people who listen to them to be leaders, not to let others rule their life, people go around with the media, I think at some point we all do, were not alone remember, we cannot just stay home and not do anything about our lifes, live them
15 years ago the radio was just too scared to play them, and yes, theyre a lot more commercial now than 15 years ago, it makes sense, sometimes you have to do something so people will hear you..talk and Ill listen, remmeber that
Anyway, I dont mean to start a fight, its just my point of view, which could be totally wrong or totally right, it depends on how you look at it
I think youre right at some point, theyre more commercial now, but the songs I personally like mroe about them are nto necessarily the politic ones, some songs have deep meaning to me, depends on how my life is at the point when I hear them

Before you start to have an opinion on something like the Iraq war, it's probably best that you learn how to spell Iraq and maybe read up on the actual war.... It wasn't pointless, we got some nice oil and we ****ed up a nasty dictator.

And all Green Day care about is selling records.

There's no punctuation to seperate the sentences so does that mean you read the whole thing? ๐Ÿ˜›
