Captain America runs the ultimate gauntlet for the life of Nick Fury!!

Nick Fury has finally been captured by HYDRA!!! HYDRA demands that they will kill him; unless Captain America can run AND survive their ultimate gauntlet they've prepared especially for him.

HYDRA has gathered 24 formidable opponents from all over the world, in an attempt to finish off Cap once and for all. If Cap can manage to survive the gauntlet and clear it completely, they will release him and Nick Fury unharmed....if Cap fails, then Nick Fury will die!!!

Cap will face 3 opponents a day....that's 1 opponent EVERY 8 HOURS. He gets 8 hours of rest in between each opponent. If he survives, he will clear this gauntlet in a total of 8 days. Also, Cap gets plenty to eat during the day and is in a locked room with exercise equipment and weights in between each battle; so he can stay in tip-top shape. Also, Cap has no idea who he'll be facing the next day.

Due to the super-soldier serum in his veins, his wounds heal rapidly and has 8 hours after each battle to get healed, revitalized, and recharged)

He gets his shield with each battle, and each opponent gets their standard, basic weapons. Each battle takes place in a huge, Roman-style collosseum!! It's no-holds barred fighting in a kill-or-be-killed competition!!! May the best warrior survive...................................

1 - Killer Croc
2 - Kraven the Hunter (Kraven has small knives & bowie knife)
3 - Mr. Hyde

DAY #2

4 - Marv from Sin City (Marv has a baseball bat, machete, and
an axe)
5 - Bane (fully pumped)
6 - The Kingpin

DAY #3

7 - Ash (Ash has his "boomstick" and chainsaw)
8 - Bullseye (has throwing knives, ninja stars, and two sai's)
9 - The Punisher (Frank has AK-47, 2 .45 caliber automatics, shotgun, 3 grenades)

DAY #4

10 - Gambit (Gambit has his staff and a full deck of playing cards)
11 - Elektra (She gets her katana sword, and 2 sai's)
12 - Daredevil (D.D. gets his billy-club)

DAY #5

13 - Shang Chi, Master of Kung-Fu
14 - Ironfist
15 - Black Panther

DAY #6 (Each of these three use a variety of sword, staffs, and knives of their choice)

16 - Connor Hawke
17 - Lady Shiva
18 - Richard Dragon

DAY #7

19 - Beast (later, more stronger/savage version)
20 - The Lizard (Savage and blood-lusted)
21 - Cyclops

DAY #8 (FINAL DAY)

22 - Blade (Vamped version, has knives, throwing weapons, 2 guns, and sword)
23 - The Predator ( Experienced warrior predator with knife gauntlet, combi-staff, and flying disc weapon ONLY!!! No invisibility/bomb or shoulder plasma cannon!!)
24 - The Terminator (T-800 version as seen in T2, has loaded grenade launcher, 2 M-16 machine guns, and fully-loaded gatlin-gun. Programmed to terminate Captain America at all costs!)

So, how far will the Sentinel of Liberty get? Will the world's greatest American icon save the life of his friend Nick Fury and clear the ultimate gauntlet of pain?? Will HYDRA be celebrating the deaths of two of their greatest foes in one day???

(Please give your opinions as to how far he'll get and WHY he stops there if you think he doesn't clear it.)

Cap knows better. Cap watches the videos of "Nick" being tortured and realizes. Jesus, this guy was the warhound. There's no way Hydra gets a hold of him!

Lo and behold, Fury shows up 15 minutes later for their weekly chess game, saying something about knocking out 102 Hydra agents on his way here. And beating the heck out of a lookalike clone.

............if it did happen.......................cap would hopefully be able to do it, i mean cap with stratagy could take all of these guys, and does cap know who he is fighting in the next match?

No, Cap doesn't really know anything about his opponents. HYDRA does however let Cap see a picture of the three opponents he'll be facing the next day. They DO NOT tell him anything about their powers, abilities, or anything!!! He gets to see a picture of them ONLY!! He's completely unaware of their fighting skills, powers, special abilities, etc....... 😉

Cap can be defeated in Day 2. If he makes it past then, he can be defeated in Day 4.

Day 4 and five might be the end for him

He'd actually be hard pressed to put down even Killer Croc considering he doesn't have any sonics. 😬

At one time yea i believe. But hes also the same guy to gets his ass handed to him by Daredevil.

I think hes recieved the biggest downgrade in comics.

Ash post Army of Darkness takes Cap 10/10

Clears it all, save for 21. Captain America and Black Panther would go about fifty-fifty, and a Terminator would be a pretty damned hard fight.

Cyclops, though, would likely decimate Captain America, assuming blood lust. I mean, didn't cyclops get a HUGE upgrade? Not to mention that he could already take anyone out via a visor-less blast. Captain America can dodge small blasts all day, but a landscape-covering blast? Nahh. Spider-man wouldn't be able to dodge it, Wolverine would likely be knocked out by it, Captain America doesn't have a hope for either.

Not to mention that his shield can only cover so much of his body at a time...

He doesn't get clear it.

THINK. He only has eight hours to heal. What? His numerous opponents won't get a single hit and break his arm? Or his jaw? Or cause a mortal wound?

He lasts until Day 3.

Cap and Ash team up and clear the gauntlet, then with the aid of Nick Fury destory Hydra forever 😄
