I can't believe that NOBODY made a Magneto respect thread. Well, I'm here to change that. Magneto is one BADASS character. I credit DC for the scans.

Magneto has better control of lightning then Storm - even if controlling weather is Storm's primary power:

Explosion that threatened Avengers (including Thor and She-Hulk) is stopped by “thin” and “hastily erected shield” of Magneto’s. He had battled Avengers for pages before that and was very weak from all assaults, which explains his struggling and weakness.

Magneto has been able to battle Xavier telepathically without psychic defenses, after Magneto was caught unaware from bed. Xavier was struggling.

He has been able to lessen the effects of multiple nukes while feeling the pain equal of having electric drills through his eyes…and the nukes were right next to him. Not to mention that he actually succeeded to completely nullify the effects. And he was fine in moments (after taking another incredible pain when he channeled all the magnetic energies of the earth through him) and was able to battle top-notch condition Joseph and the X-men.

That is Storms own lightning deflected back to her, not his own creation.

I know about Storm's lightning. But, he showed that he has better control over it than she does.

And only two of the scans are him using tech. Still impressive though. 😬 He's MAJORLY underestimated on these forums. ✅
