where here's my short theory...father's suck they occupy value wooing time...that's basiclly will's problem...he'll turn into principle skinner from the simpsons...

I'm a little leery about involving everyone's dads in this too, but it worked out for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Sean Connery as Indy's dad was just too cool and really made the whole series much deeper and slightly funnier.

Wouldn't it be cool too, if Jack's mom was alive? Think she'd be proud of her boy?

Apprently Keith is only in it for a short time..and its only in a scene with him Jack and Liz.

I honetly dont think that Jacks mum has been there for him..I bet she died when he was very young..

yeah if his mom was alive she probably would have taught to respect women better. Im not saying he treats them horribly but its not like he is a gentleman or anything. Cuz supposeddly he is a "ladies man". does that make sense?

yea i know what u mean! Hes not exactly a gentleman in terms of he likes to flirst and he is a ladys man. But hes not the type to abuse them either.

he seems to be a gentleman around Liz though..which is what she starts to fear after the curiosity scene...

yes but before taht whole scene and us thinking they were going to be together. We always thought of him as the kind of guy that goes after liken every woman he sees. But after the curiosity scene we started to see his softer side. The side we where we can imagine him falling in love. He learned you have to be gentle witha woman after he met Liz.

omg thats soo true. When i saw that side of him i almost melted..and i think liz got frekaed out a lil bc she was seeing a side of jack that was attracting to her alot.

Yes and im so jealous. If she was getting freaked out she should have just left so i could take her place...i could so picture her running away and seeing my head pop up in her place 😂

we go on for about 30 min.
Finally Jack gets frustrated and kisses us both then runs to chase after Liz.

dont no if its off topic or what but i noticed something in POTC1 (not sure if ne1 has posted it yet or not...)

Did u notice that WILL hit JACK over the head with an oar in POTC1

...dont know if its significant like, but i thought it was rather interesting...

Also, in the persuasion scene, when Elizabeth gets flustered and walks off where she has her convo with Norrington, did anyone notice the look on Jack's face when she walked off? And the little exasperated noise he made? ...it made me giggle coz it made me realise that it was RIGHT THEN that Jack realised she did actually have an effect on him.

As for her feelings towards him; hes totally oblivious.
He had flirtateous feelings for her in the first film...she was a woman and he was a man; and i think that was what the writers were trying to imply here.

ALSO
At the end of POTC1;

Jack: "Elizabeth...it never would have worked between us"

And THAT is the last thing he says to her...foreshadowing?
Oooooh....I think so 🙂
