no they dont have to be great, but this isnt about the quality of a movie its about the quality of the story and those stories are based on some real or big time events was my point... and 1.8 billion says titanic was good.

If the story was indeed about the actual event, and not filtered through a love story, I would have thought differently

The whole point of Snakes On A Plane is that it is unbelievable corny and random. The movie doesn't pretend to be an edge-of-your-seat thriller, but a totally sucky idea with a famous actor and many cheesy one liners in it. God. 🙄
