O/T- I was in the bookstore today, and saw Superman: For Tomorrow. Both volumes.
I skimmed the first one, and wasn't really impressed.

Does the second improve, or should i just bypass them altogether?

And i got Superman😖ecret Identity coming, and thinking about Superman: For all Seasons.

Is FAS any good??

I though Supes only absorbs Solar Energy, but im kinda missing a few old issues.. Anyhow we havent really seen what Aegis can do cept She curbstomp upgrade SS. I doubt Supes could take her...

I am not very familiar with aegis, lady of sarrows can someone fill me in please 😕

There was a war a long time ago in the Marvel Universe and the only 3 survivors were Aegis, Tenebrous, and Galactus. And Galactus locked Aegis and Tenebrous away in the Kyln prison. After the Annihilation wave destroyed the prison Aegis and Tenebrous were released. They are both supposed to be around Galactus's Power Level, and so far Aegis has smashed Silver Surfer and KOed Galactus (by a cheap shot but still impressive.)

Red Son had never shown T-vo so I doubt it could come into play here.

I'm not even sure where I'd place Red Son power wise...this is a guy who laughed off the GL Corps and kicked some serious ass.

Aegis though is on a whole different scale of power, what made you start this thread? Is there something that Red Son did that made you think he could possibly compete?

For the record: I did exactly the same thing with the "For Tomorrow" arcs.

This is what annoys me about SS and Galactus.

Surfer gets upgraded and destroys a planet easily by himself in battle, yet a battle between 3 Galactus level beings doesnt?

Marvel writers should get their heads checked and put a VERY clear and distinctive line between these 2.

Thank god the art for these issues has been beautiful.

Surfer was way out of his power, to beat her. He was just lucky he lasted so long.

What did it really accomplish for SS?

And if SS did it without that much problem, these guys should be doing this easily by accident.

Think about it, these guys minimum output should far exceed Surfers maximum output.
