Yeah it took me a while to get used to them, especially when walking outside and then walking back inside. Mine take longer to go back to normal than they do darkening up and it gets annoying but for the most part I love them. 😛

Oh and as far as what contacts did to my eyes, you can see in the latest thread about contacts/glasses, lol.

And I'd love to do lasik but it's too costly. I'm not too fond of the idea of the procedure either but as long as I wouldn't feel it, I think I might consider it...................when I win the lottery in the next 90000 years.

If I had the cash I'd like to try a different type of contact but I had those Acuvue Oasis or whatever brand but my eyes just couldn't take it. 😬 It sucks, I like the way I look without glasses.

Our vision worsens as we age, right? Well, if my vision is at a certain point, and I have lasik done, whats to stop it from getting worse, then I will have to have it again in a few years?

And I feel you on how you look without glasses, I feel the same about me. But others disagree, they say I look better WITH glasses......

Trudat. There's a downside to everything it seems.

My Dad had something similar for cataracts and his vision improved but I don't think that lasted long.

And the same is said about me from most people. I'll always disagree though when I see myself in the mirror.
