Well, I think that most humans are some degree of bi (I believe that's what the research shows) so making fun of someone being bi is a bit like making fun of the entire human race.

Admiration for someone is always the source of romance, so it's not out of the question.
However, when someone is straight (like myself), I would never enjoy the idea of the sexual advance of another man, an idea brought to me once by a gay friend. That doesn't mean I'm yelling "I ain't no queer!" but I understand that I have a sole sexual attraction to women, not men.

I think it's all in how you handle yourself on those terms.

I've always been attracted to people because of their souls, if you will. Gender, at an earlier point, was irrelevant. The defining factor for me is the fact that I'm not sexually attracted to men. I've been in somewhat successful relationships with men but it always always came down to the question " why don't you want to have sex with me?". I had no answer. That was just it. When I did it was forced. I was unaroused and it was always a chore. With women I peruse sex. Often. Very often. I never had a bad experience with men, I don't want the attention or for people to think its 'sexy'. I hate labels of any sort. I'm not 'that lesbian, Gillian'. I'm just me... And I happen to enjoy women. The reason, if inquired, that I relay myself as homosexual is just that. I am attracted to women and even if this amazing person found their way into my life that, in any other sense, completed me and happened to be a male... I wouldn't be able to meet him sexually and that would really just be unfair of me.
