There was a similar game called payday. The difference is you move across the days of the month to get your money, instead of the properties. Still fun.

monopoly inevitably (and quickly) leads to at least one player having grossly disproportionate power over at least one other player. therefore the player who has that power can either work out a fair deal, or choose the road of mischief and lulz. then the knives come out

Im not very good at chess, though I have beaten some decent players. kamikaze strategy. see which pieces they favor and take them at the cost of whichever piece I choose to sacrifice. it really shakes up the type who study strategies from the first move 😈

Pontoon separates itself from Blackjack by allowing players to double down, or 'buy', before taking multiple subsequent hits, or 'twists'. Pontoon also allows players to double down with more than two cards in their hands, whereas, in Blackjack, players can only double down on their original two cards.
never played that. curious to try though. In blackjack you also get an extra pay out if you're dealt A+10/J/Q/K.
