That would be different if you played football at a very competitive school in Oklahoma. Bailing hay was a cake walk compared to football practice.
I liked bailing hay back in the day...I got paid 20-40 bucks per day...that is a lot of money for a little kid...wet hay was the suckiest.
When you guys say bailing hay...are you referring to picking up the bundled hay and throwing it on a truck and then unpacking the truck at the farm for winter storage? Because that is what I am talking about. (This one time...I didn't wear long sleeves, and my forearms were bloody at the end of the work day...I never forgot to wear long sleeves after that.)

I meant conditioning practices where you pretty much run/do drills for 2-3 hours.
I'm talking about loading it on the trucks, stacking the hay pretty damn high, then having to THROW each bail up into the loft while someone up there catches and stacks.

No...it was hard work...but football practice was harder.
Bailing hay was challenging...(It got really hard towards the end when you had to throw the hay bail like 15 (15 may be an exaggeration...I have no idea how high up is was.) or more feet up in the air to the "catcher"😉...but football practice was harder

I didn't like practice much but I'd rather be at practice than bale hay.
