Some planetary feats from Xavier:

Xavier mindprobes the entire globe, searching for people of good will. He rejects some but combines the psychic energy from the billions of people he chooses, as one. This energy is directed through Jean to Havok to Cyclops and fired at the Z'nox homeworld. The Z'nox are driven away and Xavier, exhausted from the ordeal, releases the minds of those from which he borrowed the mental energy.

Xavier probes the mind of Ego the Living Planet. He experiences Ego's memories "a pain that no sane mind could withstand" but endures, to reach the conclusion that there's no reasoning with it. He calls one of his Cadre K students and informs him of a plan to attack Ego with a massive amount of psychic energy. He reaches his mind across the void of space to the planet Selandiar and "whether diplomat or soldier, scientist or servant -- he harvests their psychic strength." He combines the mental energy of the entire planet's population and directs it to Zcann who shapes the energy into a psychic lance and pierces it into Ego's mind.

NB: Xavier is unaided by technological enhancement for either of these feats.

to bypass some of Cables Psi-Shields and make the operation as comfortable as possible for Nathan. He also projects an illusion of the recent attack on the mansion to Cable as he interrogates him. It's also stated by both himself and Cable that with enough time he would have bypassed all of Cables' Psi-Shields.
