Apparently Sidous can not actually create life, but Plageuis could. Someobody created Anakin because Shmi's reaction to Qui gons question would have been different if she had a virgin type birth. Shmi: "I cant expain what happened" meaning her man just got up and left her. If she had the virgin Mary type pregnancy, then it would be a being that would not be evil. So, someone with a high midiclorian count impregnanted Shmi. Plageuis seems to be the only possible one, and Anakin was probably an accident.
