Hisa stood up nervously. She walked over and grabed the bag. She walked out of the room, giving Kat a sad, nervous look. She walked slowly down the solider lined hall. As soon as she left the school, she started running for shelter. She found a nice place covered by leaves. She unzipped her bag and looked throught her things, trying to find her weapon, her only tool for survival.

Hatoshi's head jerked from Ms. Nokumora to Mr. M. He didn't spare a glance to Edo, for fear of what lie ahead. He merely stood, caught his bag, and left. His footsteps could be heard echoing down the quiet halls. He was most likely heading to his doom.

Alex could only watch as his favored teach took bullets to the head, and collapsed to the ground. He wanted to kill M... So much so. He should wait though, and he did, for his name to be called.

Fujiwara looked up with an emotionless face when his name was called. He got and caught his back but stopped infront of the door to just glance at the other students before heading off. As soon as he got outside, he looked in all the directions he could take, wondering which would be the best choice. He soon decided to run though the woods since its a little less open.

Kat sat gasping for air as Hisa left. She was alone, and practically half the class was outside ready to kill those still in the room. Noticing Mr. M glaring at her, she immediately fell silent. Even the smallest glance in her direction scared her. She didn't want to do this, she wasn't ready to do this! They were just kids! Kids! How did they expect them to kill each other. At their age, no one thought about death! They were invincible. They would live forever! Why them? Why this? Mashiro Katsumi wasn't ready to die.....

Back tracking, Nachi ended up on the other side of the little house. He had decided that this would be the best way to find Kaien and Hisa. There was only one way out of the building, and he was sitting right above it. If his friends were still in there, he might be able to catch them and then they'd be able to keep each other safe.
Kaien could probably take care of himself, it was Hisa he was worried about. True, Nachi was spacy, but he he wasn't complete oblivious. He'd seen the way his crush had paniced in the room. He wasn't going to let die... At least not while he was still alive.
Flattening himself against the roof, Nachi watched a couple more students run out and look around before bolting into the thich foliage. No Hisa... He just hoped he hadn't missed her.
(Can you tell? Nachi and Katsumi don't really like each other.)

Kat could barely bring her self to stand. Her legs felt like jello. But somehow.... Before she knew it... She was standing outside, her bag clutched to her chest. She fell to her knees then, shaking so terribly that she wasn't able to move.

'Kat?' Nachi peered over the edge of the roof at his classmate. He didn't consider the girl a friend. Hell, he didn't like her much at all. True, they were cousins, but they didn't get along too well. Her family had shunned his, her father had refused to help his younger brother in his time of need without a reason. But something about the way she sat there helplessly made him feel obligated to come to her rescue.
Carefully slidding down the roof, he dropped to the ground and ran over to her. "Katsumi!" He grabbed her by the wrist and tugged her along after him into the forest. "Hurry up, girl."
After about ten minutes of running, Nachi stopped and looked at her. "Kat, where's Hisa?"
Hisa quietly zipped up the bag and threw it on her back. She moved a big leaf out of her way to spy on her friend. 'Kat...' she thought as she saw her friend. 'And....Nachi?! What are they doing together?!' she moved the other leave out of her way and ran towards her friend.
"Katsumi!" she yelled hugging her tightly. "Kat, whats going on?! I'm so confused!" Once again, tears gathered at the tips of her eyes. She fought hard not to let them slide down her face, but it was useless. She looked at Nachi. He was always so distant from her, and wondered if he even noticed her. And even now, he was emotionless. Did he even care that he was about to kill classmates?
Umi looked side to side. "Well theres no escape now....let the game begin,"She said. She began looking for somewhere to hide intill she was ready. "Hmmm im a good climber..."She thought. She started climbing up a thick tree. She peered down and relized how she was afraid of heights. Her hands began to shake. "Uh oh,"She said not loud. She remembered when she was a kid.~flashback~ "Sis I dare you to climb that tree,"John teased. "I can't,"Umi said softly. "Your a coward and just a baby..."John said and smirked. He put his ands in his pockets and walked away. Umi had tears in her eyes. She wiped them away. "IM NOT A BABY!"She yelled running up to a tree. "Watch me!"She said. She began to climb up. She tried to reach a branch and slipped and fell off the tree. ~end flashback~
Umi held on to a branch real tight. She was too scared to notice she was slipping.
Hatoshi kept running. He didn't want to stop. Tears felw from his cheeks as he made his way through the trees, and finally taking cover in a small bush.
Straighten yourself up! You must, or you will die!
"No! I won't kill my friends... Can't!"
Dry your tears and take it like a man, you havn't even opened your bag yet!
"Shut up! Just shut up!" Hatoshi yelled, grabbing his hands and continuing to sob. He glanced up, eyes filled with hate, at the bag infront of him. He tore it open, and saw what was inside... Food... Water... Clothes... And underneath it all, his weapon.

(Recap: Everyone woke up in a big room and we were told about the Battle Royale. Teacher was shot and killed by Mr. m. Our names are being called now.
In my last post I said that Nachi's dad and Kat's dad were brothers, but what I meant was that Kat's dad is Nachi's mother's older brother. in other words I meant brother-in-laws.)

"Hisa!" Kat hugged her friend back, happy that they'd found each other again. Nachi was completely forgotten, and the cold fear that her cousin would kill her had vanished as well. "I don't know... But... but we have to find a way out!"
Hisa began to pull away from Kat. "We should find some shelter before anything else." she said looking around. There were pleanty of leaves they could hide in, but that wouldn't work for long. A cave! There would be shelter, andenought room for a fire. But then bears...were there even any animals on the island? She would have to take a chance.
"are you with us?" she said looking directly into Nachi's eyes.
