The badlands were really cool, though we only drove past/through them...we stopped for a little while to take some pics but it was really really hot out. We went last summer, we drove from Chicago to Yellowstone and back over 2 weeks. It was the first time I'd ever seen mountains 😂

I camped in the badlands for a week, my parents nearly had a heartattack from having to drive over those giant rock-mountain-things everyday to get to Rapid City.
