Question

In SM1 GG's last words were 'Peter, don't let Harry know.' Now I am assuming when he said that he meant he didn't want Harry to know That he Norman was GG. So why in spider-man 2 was Norman telling Harry to avenge him? When Harry found the GG2 costume it would be obvious to him that his dad had been GG. So why did Norman say that he didn't want Harry to know and then basically goes and tells him in SM2?

It wasn't Norman. Norman is dead. Its Harry hallucinating. He's going over the edge. Learning Peter's identity pushed him to the limit.

We will have to see what bad guy he becomes in part 3 or a later film.
