i think what it comes down to is this:
From Ted's comment, we know for SURE Jack wants Elizabeth and has wanted her very consistently. That should settle it all, but unfortunately the writers/director might not realize how the audience roots for Jack and wants him to get whatever he wants.
So it will come down to Liz... she will get to choose who to go with.
Things I think might possibly happen:
- tia seduces norrington 😄
-Liz and Jack have one hott night before Liz marries Will
I dont think Will is going to even be worthy of Liz by the end of movie 3..its gonna switch round..IMO
Will's character has barley changed..its all been saved up..something big and bad is going to happen with him..and its WAY OVERDUE..which would give him reason to be the person who hurts Liz the most..
"Is it SO bad that Liz is falling for Jack..does that make her a bad person?" - Basicaly what teddie boy is saying I think..
In my opinion. No it doesn't make her a bad person...people and relationships change all the time..we very rarley stick with our first loves..we often realize that they are not right for us...Liz has wanted to be a pirate since before she even met William Turner..she is married to the pirate lifestyle..and she wants Jack.. She always has...She's only just begining to realize it though now that its been dangled infront of her..why should she be punished for embracing what she wants most in life?
What makes a person a bad person is selfishly stopping someone at all costs from being happy in life just so you can keep that person to yourself..and I think Will is going to do this to Elizabeth and Jack in movie 3....he is mirroring Davy Jones.
Davy Jones hates Jack for "stealing his woman"
Davy Jones hates Calypso for choosing Jack..because "he can never love her like I do"
If will mirrors him (like the drectors say he's going to)..then He's going to do the exact same thing to Liz and Jack...and he's going to use the same argument:
"Liz is being "stolen" by Jack who can NEVER love her like I do"
When ever did Jack "force" Liz to fall for him? NEVER
How could Jack "not love her" when he actually came back for her on the pearl her for that very purpose?
they are falling for eachother naturally..and Will cant see it...or is it that he WONT see it?..Is he going to lie to himself so that he can SELFISHLY keep liz to himself??
Will is probably going to be determined not to believe that Jack can love her and that she is in fact choosing to be with him..she is not being FORCED to be with Jack..she's choosing it herself..
there is a VERY thin line between loving someone and hating someone..and Is will going to cross that line?

Well...a feast is all good when its fresh and exciting and the array of food is never ending...but what happens when there is nothing left to choose from because the food is slowly going mouldy and looking slightly off-colour??

OMG, Jack as a waffle...well, in my book he is a Chocolate Brownie with Hot Fudge, Ice Cream, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry on top...OMG the man is incredibly gorgeous, sexy, handsome...I watched some of the commentary from POTC 1 the other night....it is so funny with Keira and Jack Davenport....in the rescue scene she says, "Oh, He is sooo good looking, come closer Johnny"....yeah, I guess I would be saying that tooo....
Anyway....Just think that if this is a true comment by Ted...then all the things We've thought about the compass is true...I've said it many times...the compass is the ultimate clue in the movie....and we do know it spends aimlessly for Jack...because he wants Liz, but he doesn't...he is torn...well, he wants her...but he knows he shouldn't and he probably thinks he doesn't really stand a chance with her...especially after the way she tricked him on the island with the rum....and we said this on another thread weeks ago...that it is obvious that Jack must be thinking about Liz when he says "why is the rum always gone" and he is obviously frustrated with the compass in that scene....

Just like I don't believe the Leaked POTC 3 script...I've read and there are just parts of if that are just not right...like the "oh Shit" discriptions...now don't see Ted and Terry writing that....so I guess we will wait and see...but I don't very much that when POTC 3 comes out that it doens't even resemble that leaked script...however, the parts with Pintel and Ragetti are quite believable, sort of...

He's talking about the Black Pearl, OMG>....she's thinking OMG he's willing to give up the Pearl....and of course the sunlight shinning behind him definitely symbolizes her hero worhsip of him....she has unconditional faith in Jack....when she crawls up and hangs on his leg is the sexiext part of the entire movie...other than the kiss and the almost kiss right at the end....mouth to mouth, nose to nose, eyes closed...but then no kiss..now that's what I call hot sexual tension...to be continued in MOVIE 3 - it's gotta be..or the trilogy will be incomplete in my book and I will be left with a sour taste in my mouth....but I guess I will still enjoy seeing Johnny Depp one more time as Captain Jack Sparrow

right, we've said this before...the dress is sinking to the ocean...as is her relationship with Will...and up walks Jack - the source of all her torment....she is thinking about Jack..made obvious by Norrington just after the Persuade me scene....she is "trouble" because she thinks she is in love with Will, but yet can't stop thinking about Jack...if she was really thinking about Will she would have said "I miss Will, I'm so ready to be married to him"...but, no the way she says it, she leaves herself wide open for the invitations that come from Jack...he interprets them as sexual...and that's just what they are....she wants Jack....not Will...

i love your speculation, and i seem to agree that it is 'want' rather than 'lust' that draws her to jack.
I REALLY do want jack and liz together, coz they were polar opposites to begin with, and now the way elizabeth has changed has made her a great companion for Jack...
But for some reason theres a little part of me (the tiniest speck of brain unfilled in my head....) that believes it just wont happen.
YES, we will get a resolve..we will get more unresolved sexual tension...but i seem to think it will be resolved by the end and elizabeth will go back to will 🙁 (you have NO idea how hard it is for me to say that!)
I know there are plenty of GREAT theories made by everyone, and i DO believe them...but i believe it all up until the end where they say "Elizabeth will go with Jack"...which saddens me 🙁

All that happens to you when you eat a feast is you get bloated, fat and cant move..you eat the waffle..and you can be hyped on sugar and be FREEEEEEEEEE
