SBP vs Odin

well, if you're gonna cherry-pick one showing, then sure, i agree, spb wins. but then i'm gonna go ahead and use the titans showing for prime, so, wait, now odin wins again. this is a puzzle. mmm

slightly more seriously--odin has some sh!tty showings. using his more common depictions though, he should be simply too versatile for prime, too many options. prime would certainly never have gone against tp on odin's level for one thing. i don't see it as impossible for prime, but i do think we need to ignore some of his best showings to get him the win.

Does Odin really go for TP in most fights though?

Because we saw how much that matters against Jane Thor.

😂

So? Jane Thor has a Skyfather/Cosmic level hammer that literally has a grudge against Odin on autopilot. The Phoenix itself was specifically noted to be fearful of it and wanted the hammer from her.

Prime got beat up by the Teen Titans and can be pummeled by a Flash because of his phobia if you can't use context.

Even the other two lesser hammers are ridiculous:

- Stormbreaker can severely injure a fed Galactus and was uber af.
- Ultimate Mjolnir was wanked to hell (Impossible to lift even by an Elder of the Universe) and was the only thing that survived the collapse of the previous reality that wasn't protected by the Molecule Man's power. People get hard on Prime being at the epicenter of the Monarch blast.

Conclusion? Aaron's view on the hammers is uber af when needed to be.

It's not just one showing. Odin has a lot of showings where he just goes h2h.

Thor alone has beaten Odin in h2h if you want to go by low showings and space ants beat his ass with laser guns.

What makes you think Odin can TP him? When Black rings tried to mindrape him he simply destroyed them because he is just that kind of character.

So? Sodam Yat had literally a building block of creation powering him up (Ion). Prime treated him like the red headed step child.

Not to mention Jane wasn't using the hammer to beat on Odin and she isn't some skyfather. Gladiator choked her out FFS.

Parallax allows a random human to go toe to toe with Spectre (Who is a lot more powerful than Odin or Galactus). Six entities refueled the source wall and are literally big bang in power level.

Prime treated the same Ion entity Sodam Yat like nothing.

Also ultimate mjolnir didn't survive a universe destroying blast any more than Maestro did. Battlworld wasn't actually destroyed. It crumbled after Doom lost its power.

When has Thor beaten Odin in hand to hand?

References a far weaker character failing at TP against Prime: Ergo, Odin will fail. 😬

The hammer was expressly highlighted during the fight. No, Jane Thor isn't a Skyfather but that hammer sure lets her fight on the level of one. That and feminism.

Gladiator never choked her out.

The rest of your point is jumping around linking random unequivocal events. I can reference the Phoenix Force being a multiversal level entity in one comic and how it was fearful of the hammer. But what would that have to do with the intention of Aaron for example? Fyi, the Ion entity has changed power levels with the user and Sodam Yat was notable underwhelming.

Read Unworthy Thor: It highlighted how the hammer tore through the walls of reality and survived the crumbling of the Universe. Contact Jason Aaron if you have a problem with his interpretation.

As Orlog.

Black Rings controlled Spectre under the same arc.

Try arguing Odin vs Spectre.

The hammer didn't do anything to help her or amped her above her normal level.

Gladiator never choked her out.

Of course he did.

That was under one writer only. Geoff Johns who wanked the hell out of emotional entities.

But it's just that in DC the characters are at lower power level when they fight each other. In marvel they aren't.

Go ahead and talk to me about PF rage, I want to see where it's multiversal.

It tore through as it created a portal. It didn't survive the destruction of battleworld as it wasn't even destroyed.

Orlog was Odin disguising himself as a foreign invader (Literal army and everything) to test Thor's mettle and confidence without the hammer.....he transformed himself into a troll with twice the strength of Thor......you have literally argued against the legitimacy of this showing even though everyone knows Odin can be a real ******* who wouldn't go easy against Thor. Orlog was beaten black and blue and in the next scene Odin was seen as fine and no one was the wiser....

That quickly reminded me how pointless it is discussing things with you is.

Also: Gladiator never choked her out. He grabbed her by the neck and they were teleported. Resisting being possessed by a ring has nothing to do with TP immunity and read Unworthy Thor (When he threw the hammer, it tore through the dying Universe).

But I am done with this discussion, your opinions are your own: I will simply try to point people in the right direction and offer enough criticism on your posts so that people know to doubt you.

that showing is weird as phuk. he didn't destroy the ring in the end. i'm not sure WHAT happened there. looks like it was...overloaded by teenage angst?? 😑

anyway, that's not tp anyway, so it's moot. at least not in any of the traditional sense. like i said, i think we'd have to assume low showings for odin to give this to prime. /shrug

Odin stomps

naj? 😑

Yes, the characters do get healed up. What a shocker right?

The fact is, Odin got his ass handed to him by a young Thor.

That quickly reminded me how pointless it is discussing things with you is.

Because you always lose?

Also: Gladiator never choked her out. He grabbed her by the neck and they were teleported.

And somehow Gladiator was awake and Thor fainted because of teleportation? I call bullshit.

Resisting being possessed by a ring has nothing to do with TP immunity and read Unworthy Thor (When he threw the hammer, it tore through the dying Universe).

It shows he is highly resistant to exotic attacks.

It created a Portal rage. Nothing fancy.

See ya.

It was just that Prime has a history of bullshit feats which are shown impossible to do.

At low showings even Superman would beat the shit out of Odin. You don't have to argue low showings for SBP.

Pit Monarch against Odin and see how it goes. Or Mordru. But somehow SBP gets lowballed to shit because versatility?
