Goodbye thread

I'm a little late, but I hope you have access to a computer over there so you can read this.

Goodbye Nataku...you were one of my favourite members around here. I always admired your ruthlessness, and hope that your 'tyrant' persona keeps you alive in that dangerous shit-hole you're headed toward, (or have likely already arrived in).

My buddy went to Afghanistan a couple of years ago, (this was before our Canadian soldiers began dying on a weekly basis), and what I told him before he left was simply this:

When in doubt...SHOOT!

Take care of yourself and do your country proud...(and all that crap)...further your career and try to stay alive. As mentioned above, I hope you have access to the internet over there and can talk to us every now and then.

Oh and I hope he pops in to say hes alive after hes done in Iraq.

Well, Nataku should officially be in his first week of basic since last week was actually "Zero Week" for him. He be in basic for a good 9 weeks (I think that's how long it is since they extended Air Force basic from 6), and I'm not sure how long tech school is for Security Forces, but that should take no less than 2 months. So, that said, I'm considering closing this, or just leaving it until he comes back, whenever that is. I'm still undecided, so I'll see.

I graduated basic on Friday, I'm at a cyber cafe right now, paying 10 bucks an hour to talk to my friends.

I once paid $10 (AUS) for 12 hours in an internet cafe 7pm - 7am ... and used nearly every minute of it playing battlefield 1942
