Yeah, but it doesn't sound like a deal is even close.

Houston will ask too much and Dumars will back out. I love the idea, but nothing that good happens to sport teams I like nowadays.

At least this off-season we will have Olympic basketball.

Rumor mill around town is that Dumars is looking at the possiblity of trading for Mcgrady.

WHY. T-Mac is a joke. He can't win a playoff series.

I would laugh so hard if T-Mac was traded to Detroit and still lost in the first round with a team that just went 5 (or is it 6) years in a row to at least the Conference Finals.

JESUS! THAT'S F*CKING GROSS! LEAVE OUR FORUM!!!! (Reported, obviously).

Bayless was f*cking badass in his Blazer debut. 28 points and was getting to the line whenever he wanted. Also, Koponen needs to officially replace Sergio Rodriguez once and for all. 19 points with 4 for 6 threes. Plus he played under control. Though nobody Koponen or Bayless passed to could make a lay up or jump shot so the team only ended up with 4 assists.

Unbelievable, and here I was thinking this forum was my haven from gay porn.

Because The Pistons need to shake things up, there core hasn't gotten the job done so Dumars is looking for a change. I don't see T-mac coming to Detroit, but the idea is to have T-mac be the piece like Gasol was for the Lakers, or Garnett was with Boston.

The difference is that a trade for McGrady would require giving up pieces that are important to the current success. The most prominent guy the Lakers gave up was Kwame Brown. To pry McGrady from the Rockets it will take 2 of your top 6 players.

Hopefully, the Lakers can acquire Artest

Yeah but the Pistons aren't going anywhere with the group they have now as Rasheed is declining and Chauncy isn't the same player he was in 2004. The problem with the Pistons is all there best players are good but not great players. They could get away with that in 2004 and 2005 because they played defense like a motha****a and their main core was better offensively compared to this team. I think the only guys the Pistons keep for sure is Hamilton, Stucky, and maybe Prince. Everyone else is tradeable.

I'd say due to age that Prince is more important to keep than Hamilton.

I wish Prince was a Blazer. How about Webster, Przybilla, Sergio and a 1st rounder for him?

Camby is a Clipper

Yeah, retarded move by the Nuggets unless they pick up a big name defensive presence (I heard they liked Josh Smith who is a free agent). With the current roster, Nuggets won't make the playoffs this year now that they got rid of their only defensive guy. Clippers have now made large upgrades over last season. Adding Baron Davis, Eric Gordan, and now Camby to last year's roster (which basically was without Brand as it was).

Bayless is going off again for the Blazers.

Camby and Kamen(sp?) should makeup a great frontcourt, Camby can anchor the D, while Kamen can postup and Camby can roam, throw in the bearded menance for offense, and you definetly have a playoff caliber team.

The only player Dumars said isn't on the trading block is Stuckey, so he's not going anywhere, but anyone else could be shipped out. Prince defense is awesome as we all know, and his offense is solid, but he does pass up a lot of open shots that he can easily knock down, which can cause droughts. And what Prince is to Detroit's defense, Hamilton is to our offense, he's always been the most consistent offensively out of the 5. I would personaly like to see Detroit keep Prince, Hamilton, and Billups, but It's a safe bet at least one of those players won't be in Detroit next season, and I don't blame Dumars for trading any of them, we haven't gotten better in the past 4 years, something needs to be done to get back on top.

Out of those three, Hamilton is the most expendable IMO. He's a good shooter but can't create off the dribble. Stuckey and Afflalo in a year would be an improvement.

Watched Aaron at UCLA. He'll do good with time

Posey will be playing with Chris Paul

Artest said he wants to play for the Lakers. Lakers sign him

Will Afflalo even get playing time?

With Flip gone and some more experience he will.

Artest isn't a free agent so they can either trade for him or wait a year to sign him.

I'd sign him now. Take Ken Thomas 2 yr $. Lakers will have four All Stars starting
