I didn't say Kobe did. My point was watching Kobe for 13 years, when he's hot. Cannot be stopped. U agree

When he misses a few, he gets cold

He made sweet gamewinners but the Lakers rely too much on Kobe and stand and watch

Fisher is playing too many minutes. Blown another defense assignment. Ariza had checked in. He should've guarded Nelson

The announcers said Sun would get more minutes. 2 minutes total. Jordan will be out at least three more weeks. Sign another guard

Phil wont play him. He's loves how Fish gets blown by, leaves shooters and makes horrible decisions in transition.

That's bad

Next up is Cleveland

T. Young was incredible

Yeah, he is a stud.

Magic defeated the Nuggets. 😄

Hosting Boston this up coming Thurs.

Philly and Orlando win again

Spurs game was great but the ending was bullshit. Fisher didn't foul him. Magic game was fair and Nelson made impressive shots down the stretch.

I hope the Lakers are pissed and will take it out on the Cavs. Please have Kobe-LeBron guard each other.

And Evolution I disagree with you on Fisher/Farmer. Fisher is our team's second smartest player. He adds desperately needed veteran deph to us. He hits shots in the beggining of the game and is a valuable perimeter threat and can shoot 90% free throws. Farmer is our most explosive point guard and one of our better athletes. Lost his 3pt touch this season a lil bit but he'll rebound when back.

Man Kobe is balling lately but I ain't lying when I'm saying Manu ****ed Ariza up on Wed.

Whats up guys? Happy new year and all that jazz. Just got back from holiday at the beach and thought i'd check in. I managed to follow a few Laker games while i was away, not impressed with the last two.
Most disappointing is Bynum's rebounding #'s, he simply has to put more effort in. I caught the Spurs and Magic games and he was very lethargic going after the boards, he cant just rely on being taller than most of his opponents he needs to get in there and mix it up. With our big front line we should be dominating the boards but too often i see dudes ball-watching and not boxing out.
I love the big line up Phil has gone to on occasion, our defense is excellent on the perimeter when Kobe, Ariza and Lamar play the 1,2 and 3. I feel for Josh Powell to, after an awesome game against the Spurs he gets rewarded with a DNP. I really like his game, he fights for boards and has a nice mid range jumper - hopefully he can get some more minutes.
Big game against the Cavs who are playing great ball. I'd put Ariza on Mo Will in the 4th and Lamar on LeBron, both are quick enough to stay in front of their man (most of the time) and use their length to bother the jumpers. We must make a concerted effort to control the boards, the Cavs hit the glass hard and we cant give them 2nd and 3rd shots. Kobe has been playing great lately, great mix of scoring and playmaking. Exciting matchup with him and LeBron.

Welcome back Kool and Darth

I love Fisher and Farmar has made improvements with his game, but they can't guard anyone. The Lakers need to address the issues in the back court. Jordan is still out many weeks and D is playing too many minutes. Kobe has been hot. Shooting a career high(47%), but aforementioned when he's cold defer to the other guys. Had a triple double; would've loved to see a few more passes to Lamar who was slashing to the hole

Agreed KR. Josh hits 3 jumpers and he's on the bench. Geez Phil

Andrew has a tendency to pout when the ball doesn't go to him. Can't play like that. He has tremendous upside and needs to play to that potential. If ur not scoring, do the little things. Rebounding and defense

I wish Phil play Rad more. Hits 2 3's in the third quarter. Gets rewarded with no minutes in the 4th

Kobe vs Lebron again. Lakers need to play good offense. Work the bigs often

Sixers go on a 12-0 run in the final 2 minutes to tie the game with 9 seconds left, only to lose on a Dirk buzzer beater. face-plain

So Rudy Fernandez is in the dunk contest. Though I am excited to finally have a Blazer in it, I think Joe Alexander would have been the better choice.

Lakers win 105-88 😊

Led by Pau's 22(11-13 FG), Kobe's 20, 12 and 6. Sasha was big with 14 points and 2 big 3's by Trevor

It was a great game.

I was pulling for the Lakers and I'm glad they won. I got five bucks off of that victory. 😛

Coolies

Glad Kobe wasn't hurt too bad

Oden had his best game so far this season, though nobody saw it because of the Cavs/Lakers game.

What a game man, finally some consistent effort on the defensive end. Kobe was unreal, like him or hate him you have no choice but to respect him. Any other superstar would have hit the showers after dislocating his finger (on the same shooting hand he already has another dislocated finger) but Kobe doesnt even leave the game. Straight back out there after getting taped up in the timeout, this is why his fans love him so much. You pretty much have to shoot the dude to stop him playing. His competitiveness is incredible and the way he played facilitator after the injury was an example of how much he has grown as a team player. I was unsure about Kobe guarding LeBron because of the size mismatch but Kobe took away LeBron's angles and used some great positioning to slow LeBron down to a crawl by his standards.
I wish the Lakers could always play with this kind of energy, but at least we have gotten up for the two biggest games of our season (Cavs and Celtics). I hope they are just waiting till the playoffs to go all out consistently.

Props to Oden Myth, i think the most encouraging stat is the 35mins and only 2 fouls.

Excellent points all around. The Lakers have the most talent and all they need to do is play hard for 48 minutes. Kobe was incredible. I liked Pau's words after the game and the Lakers should go inside more. Good to see Andrew play hard. The bigs can average 20 each

Tomorrow, the Clippers. Play smart, go inside, get a big lead so the starters can get some rest
