Well, i totally forgot about the game.. but i didnt miss any buzzer beaters or overtimes.. so im happy... with the NCAA tournament there were 2 2OT games and i missed them both.. lol

well i am being a tad sarcastic, but hes a good player. and i'm sure other fans would sympathise seeing as he is a portland native. i dont hate vince, mac and camby at all though. they wanted to go elsewhere, and thats fine. it (IS a business unfortunately, and these things happen. the worst thing about vince going was that we didnt get more in return.

Living in the Portland area means I hear even the tiny rumors about the Blazers. Blazers are not going to be willing to give him the contract he wants, especially now that the Blazers see Telfair as their future PG. They don't want to start 2 people under 6' and they will not bench Telfair anymore, so Damon is not needed anymore. Plus, Damon also said that he will not sign with Blazers unless he is promised a job in the front office job in retirement. Blazers already told him no to that.

I guess its a bit different when you actually live in the city in question though Darth. Both yourself and I have the luxury of being somewhat detached from the situation (being on the other side of the world) when a player leaves your team, Im betting its a bit different when you're right there in the middle of the "witch hunt". Im sure the media doesnt mind adding fuel to the fire as well.
Myth, do you think Miles had a problem with Cheeks or does he just have the "Sprewell syndrome"?
The more i think about Phil coming back to the Lakers the more Im warming to it. If anyone can get Odom, Butler, Mihm and the rest to play to their potential its Phil. Hopefully next year we can play some defense and get back to the playoffs.
Finally wuTa, welcome back. Im glad your guys finally decided to show up, they are gonna have to take it up another notch in game 4 though.

Been hiding have we? Seems as if you haven't been around much until Detroit finally gets a win. Don't worry, I'm just messin with ya. You know, seeing as you are currently siding with the enemy. Amazing how fast a team I support so strongly last finals is the team I'm rooting against this one.

🥷...i did browse through the forums but noone was talking about the series, everyone was talking about offseason stuff, and the only thing on my mind were the pistons...in fact the only thing i could post was "c'moooooon pistons"..i know i didnt need to clearify that, but i'm bored so i did anyways 🙂...yea, i feel like link and kool from last year because everyone was rooting against there team, and now everyone seems to be rooting against mine, but its all good.....i can handle that we were once allies, and now destined enemies tank

thanks kool (even thoug i didnt go nowhere😛) ...yea,next game theyre gonna have to step up the intensity, they played great in the 2nd half, but they need start playing great for 4 quaters.... the only thing i think they need to improve form last game is sheed getting more touches, and hitting there cutters better, they were missing alot them in the 1st half...we do those two things and were golden afro

I thought McDyess was a great boost off the bench to. He did a fantastic job on defense of taking Timmy out of his comfort zone and on offense he hit a couple of important buckets down the stretch. I thought it was funny how Milicic was described as "the human victory cigar".
I agree the Pistons have got to play that way for the full 48, but their offence has always been a bit sporadic so they'll just have to swarm on defense and get out on the break. One of my favourite plays from game 3 (other than Bens reverse alley-oop) was the three one one fast break in the 4th. Quick outlet, one wing to the other then reward the trailer running hard - brilliant text book fast break.
The Spurs are too good to crumble again like they did last game, expect Duncan and Ginobli to come roaring back. I think Bowen is gonna take exception to Rip lighting him up as well, but as long a Rip keeps moving he should be able to get good looks. The thing about players like Rip and Reggie is that they are only as effective as their screeners, if the screens are weak then Bowens job is alot easier.
Im not sure who's gonna win the next one, the one problem for the Pistons this year has been inconsistency. They could easily come out in game 4 and play like they did in game 2 you just dont know. Sheed has got to come alive, 8pts will not be enough to get his team past the Spurs this time. He started so well, posting up Horry and scoring at will. He seems to shrink when Duncan moves over to guard him but i think he could have alot of success against Duncan, at least make him play some D and put some fouls on him. Should be a great game anyways.

Camby not soo much, but the rest of the draft picks left, not because of money, but because they wanted to play in a bigger basketball arena. They didnt want to play in Canada. Look at VC, he had a 90 million dollar contract. Obviously, he didnt leave because of the lack of money.

McGrady could of gotten a big contract, but then again, he didnt want to play in Toronto. He wasnt getting popular enough.
Damon Stoudmire also. He would of gotten a big contract.

vince has still got a club i beleive in toronto, has has'nt ruled out goping back there. he has no beef with the club, but the fans do, which i do sympathise with. but if quality players wanna play for toronto then accept them. if it happened again thats it though. can you imagine the team toronto would have if players had stayed?
pg stoudamire,
sg Tmac
sf vince
pf bosh
c camby

not a bad starting five in my opinion😉

He has beef with the club. He wouldnt of left if he didnt or not played to his potential. I agree that he still loves TO but not the actually club.

Aside from Camby and Stoudamire, yes.

ahhhh shit son...4 quaters of pure domintation, exactly what i wanted to see..... whooo we got a big game sunday....that game is gonna be HUGE

BLUE KNIGHT RULES!!!!!!! RED KNIGHT SUCKS THE BIG ONE!!!!!!!...red knights goin down.... down, down, down.... red knights goin down....down, down , down 💃

Well i don't mind admitting i was wrong, i said that the Spurs couldn't play any worse and they would come out strong. 😮
The Spurs were god-awful, the only player worth mentioning is Devin Brown and how far down the bench is he? At least we have a series now and as bad as the Pistons were in game 1 & 2 the Spurs were worse in game 4. Duncan looked like he was gonna cry and i wouldn't have blamed him, Ginobli was invisible same with Parker. With those two firing blanks Duncan is alot easier to guard and Sheed, Ben and McDyess defended him as well as I've ever seen.
The Spurs had 11 baskets and 10 turnovers at half time! That is staggering, at the end of the game the team had 17 turnovers and 15 assists! You have to give the Pistons all the credit for the swarming defense but the Spurs handled the pressure badly. One classic example was Beno Udrich bringing the ball up and seeing a half court trap coming, so what does he do? He dribbles to the corner so he can be trapped easier. One of the first things you get taught as a PG is if you see a trap coming stay in the middle of the court because it is harder to trap and easier to see your teammates. This is basic stuff and its not like playing tough D is the Pistons secret weapon, you have to expect it every play.
So to game 5, i wont say the Spurs will redeem themselves this time (I've learnt that the only way you keep your foot out of your mouth is to keep it shut). Its really up in the air now, the Pistons have all the momentum and they are dominating at home. You would think that the Spurs have to play with some pride in the next game, if they don't they are going to start having doubts on their home court and that spells game over. For the neutral (which i am now the series is level, sorry wuTa) it would be nice to see a game where both teams played well and duked it out like the Celtics and Lakers used to do. The series has had plenty of drama but every game has been a blow out. I reckon this will go 7.

1. Kool - I think Miles has a bit of "Sprewell Syndrom". Mo Cheeks has got to be one of the nicest guys in the NBA, I'm sure Miles just freaked out about lack of playing time for a team that was shitty. For Miles, its either individual greatness or team success, but if both are absent he will throw a tantrum. I'm actually surprised with Damon this year. He had to share his PG position with Telfair and the team sucked yet this year he kept his mouth shut better than any other year (plus he actually didn't get caught with pot this year).

2. wuTa- Thats understandable. Like I said, I was just giving you a hard time. "i can handle that we were once allies, and now destined enemies". Trust me, I liked being allies against the Lakers so much more. I'm rooting against the Pistons this year but there is not the fire in it that I had against Lakers last year.

3. F*CK F*CK F*CK! You can guess what this subject is about.

Please, please, please.. the game 5 be close!!!!!!! thats all i care about... a close game

hell no!!!!!!...blow them out detriot....blow them out!!!!!!

Won't happen. Spurs will take the next game.

I hope this year's Finals ends up being 7 games long.

And i hope San An take it in 7 😛

That would definitely be fun. But just to be safe, I'm still hoping for the next 2 to be Spurs.

Yeah, you never know what to expect with Detroit. One game they might play really bad, the next, you have 6-7 ppl in double figures for scoring!

LOL, Darko scored 2 in Game 4! 😛

theres no certain winner for this series, after spurs blew out the pistons at home, pistons have come back strong, including the win in game 4 by a huge 31 points. its an open series for sure. and, i think tyhe momentum is with detroit. i'm with the pistons on this one. pistons win
4-3, next game is overtime or extremely close.

i stand by my prediction...pistons in 6
