Also, I really like the Camby trade for Portland. Though it may all be for nothing because Roy had another set back with his hamstring. In the time Roy has missed, we have gone from 4th seed to 8th. Him missing another month or so may take us out of the playoffs altogether.
thing is camby has said how much he like the clips organization... theres a strong chance he'll sign back with them in the summer. so they're getting a couple of solid young players, they'r enot gonna make the playoffs, and they'll get back a player in the summer. the blazers on the other hand get a big who is a great defender, alters and blocks shots in the game. i think its a good trade by both teams
The Clips are a joke team. They didn't even tell Camby he was getting traded; the guy heard it while he was eating dinner.
Beyond that, the Rockets completely fleeced the Knicks IMO. They got two first round picks, a solid player in Kevin Martin, and a young guy in Jordan Hill. All of that for T-Back's expiring contract. Meanwhile, the Knicks got enough cap space to maybe land a big time FA this summer.

Whats funny is there are many Blazer fans that think the team will re-sign Blake or Outlaw next summer. Its the teams are just borrowing players, lol.
haha yeah amazing aint it. i need to try and check more blazers games out, only one i've seen so far was the win at home against the lakers. always a nice win! living in the UK sucks if you love basketball! thank god for torrents=]
in regard to the knicks, they've got enough cap space to go for TWO big signings in the summer. i'm not sure they'll get them, yes its the media capital.... you just have to wonder how much backup they could get for two big stars. it'll likely be a few barely average at best for them. imagine if they could get lebron and wade though.... ouch!

Its been a tough season to watch. Blazers have a roster that should be able to compete, but we have had injury after injury and even with everybody back now except Oden/Przybilla, we appear out of sync. Roy is limping around on a bad hamstring and much of the guys seem like they have not had much chance to build chemistry. In the last month when Roy went out, we went from a solid 4th seed to barely hanging onto 8th. If Roy doesn't start playing like he is healthy soon, we may be in the lottery.
yeah we had big chemistry problems early on, took us 20 games to find out how to play the team, but since early december we're third best team in the nba. doesnt seem right! we're on course with the most successful raptors team too, so fingers crossed bosh will be back soon and we keep playing well. just makes me wonder how many more wins we may have if turk could find his game. hes shown flashes of brilliance, but other times its been horrible. amir johnsons been pretty big for us, and our point gaurd tandem is among the best in the L.
well i watched the raps and blazers game... raps played bad and didnt give a good account. blazers though played some nice defense, roy is a future hall of famer if he keeps playing so well and i'm surprised andre miller doesnt get more credit... hes not flashy but damn does he get the job done! always plays well when i see him.

They barely beat them in 07-08. This is a much weaker Celtics squad and a much stronger Cavs team.

looking at the teams in the playoffs at the moment, how do you guys fancy your chances of doing well? what teams do you fancy to cause an upset? i think if toronto are healthy and lock down the 5th place, we may get past the first round... hawks arent easy though. they've annihilated us so far this year!
speaking of the hawks i think they could do well. in the west, its tight. theres so many teams there capable of beating each other it should be fun to keep an eye on!
