It really pays to "know" people.....

fro example, i have a few buddies on the police force. a while back, i got out of getting a ticket just because i know some cops.

i also got tight with the local pizza delivery guy, who brings me like 3 or 4 free pizzas a wekk to my job.

yesterday, i needed two new tires for my truck. the price was gonna be like 300 bucks, but, since my buddy worked there, it was 142.50.

ok...its good to know someone...agreed...so whats do we discuss/debate?

I interviewed this chick one time for the news about Bonfonte Gardens, next thing you know, I called her up and got free tickets for the whole family at Bonfonte Gardens for Father's Day.

No, but tickets there are about 35-40 dollars, and I got six tickets, so you can imagine how much money I saved everyone. Plus, my dad was dying to go there, so it worked out. 😉

Hopefully my friend can hook me up with a nice dorm...

I have a great uncle that I have never meet but he is the police superintendant in the city that I live in. All I have to do is drop his name(as we have the same last name) and the cop will just let me go. It is pretty sweet.

I know enough people in Chicago that I can save enough money.
I know cops in a few villages, a retired judge, a current judge, a very powerfull family, politicians, and various others...
