i don't know him to say this, but from what i get from him, he wouldn't just blow off an award just because he didn't think he was going to win, thats immature and stupid. he probably didn't go because he was with family or friends, why would he come all the way to US just for an stupid award, whether he knew or not if he was going to win? there are plenty of times where he didn't go and he won

I feel bad for Leo DiCaprio though he's another Johnny...they r both terrific actors...they both literally envoke their characters....and they do amazing jobs and put so much effort in their projects and they very often get the SHAFT (well at least by the American Foreign Press...or whatever they are called...the ones who decide who gets the award)! But Ya Leo was nominated twice in the same category and even like that he still didn't win...poor guy!

I will not take crap from people offending actors just because Johnny didn't win. If it was Will Smith who won(example) and Johnny didn't get it, does that give us the right to offend Mr. Smith?
