I love JOhnny...it was so funny...I was at the baseball game tonight and my friend has never seen any of the Pirate movies...I was like "what?"...and her daughter (who is 12) was like "johnny is ugly, why do you have him on your myspace"...and I was like "OMG..how can you say that, you need to have your eyes checked, girl"..my friend laughed...my friend's husband didn't even know who Johnny was..and another dad sitting there told him that Johnny was "funnY'...and was like "no he is not"....he is in love with a beautiful woman and they have two beautiful children...ah, poor johnny...so misunderstood by the misinformed public...

They just dont appreciate his Talent!!! The ignorence of them all!!!

but these are the minority.
everyone i know seems to think that johnny is the bees-knees 😄

I know..I was like...how could you guys live in a world without Johnny..I didn't really say that...but I could tell they thought I was soo silly...my friend couldn't believe I joined a forum to talk about Pirates...she was like "really, you can go into a place where everyone talks about the Pirates movie"...and i told her...yes....of course had it not been for my nephew's accident, I probably would have never discovered this place myself....I was looking for a diversion to take my mind off of everything when I couldn't sleep at night..and I thought about my new obsession with DMC and decided to surf the net...and then took me about two weeks of lurking before I decided to join...back in late July...and here I am, still, 8 months later...

if someone had told me a year ago that i would join a forum on the interenet and talk with strangers (although we are not strangers anymore)...I would have laughed..this friend of mine use to actually talk on the internet herself in chatrooms...so I don't why she thought it so weird that I joined a forum to talk about my favorite subjects..Johnny, Jack and the POTC Trilogy...

I joined MANY boards before this one, bt they werent pirate related lol.

(actually if im honest, i didnt realise just HOW big pirates was until i surfed the net and found all of these ridiculously cool websites!!!)

And i think i have found my home here...and im not ready to leave yet (and i certainly wont be ready when it IS actually time to leave...you know, when AWE has come out and we've knit-picked at every little detail until there is nothing left....lol)

I just hope we can all keep intouch when that day comes!!! 😄

tell me about it i was trying to find info on DMC and look at pictures and stuff and i found this site by accidently pushing a button!! The first thread i read was the The Blooming Curiosity scene<---thats what the thread is called....i read a couple posts and i was hooked i couldnt wait to put my 2 sense in so i joined right away and posted right away!!! 😄

yeah...at Kttc the guidelines are so straight and narrow...you cnat' say Johnny is hot...are you'll get shotdown...you can't talk about how sexy Jack is...or they'll cut you out...so .....this sight is just easier to read...but I have been visiting KTTC more lately..looking for spoilers...

My first thread I read here...was Jack and Lizzie...back on July 15...just a couple of days after I saw DMC for the first time...I remember I pretended to meet a friend for lunch so I could go sneak to the local movie theatrea and watch DMC...while my husband was at work...and then when it was over, I sneaked into another viewing room and the movie was at the part "hide the rum"..so all the good j/e parts were left....

Seriously though....i hope everyone hangs around here for a while and stuff, coz i will miss everyone when it is time to say goodbye 🙁

(unless the writers and johnny decide they wanna do POTC 4...in which case we can all hang around for another 2 years while they write the script and then get the cast and crew together lol!!! 😄)

It all began in the fall of 2005.. I was searching for something pirate related and came across a thread on this site. A person said they were an extra in Pirates 2. So I bookmarked it and checked back every week cause he said he would post pics as the movie got closer. But he never did. I decided to look at the main page of the pirate forum. There was all sorts of info.. And someone found the trailer three days before it came out. Thats when I started coming here more and signed up!

I onyl signed up in the first place so I could see the pictures that people attached 😄
