So Tigger, what would cause you to even wonder why you can't get over your obsession? Is it part of a test or something? Your burning desire, to me anyway, is a gift from God, at least in my Methodist upbringing/choice. We are given things to help us, people to help us, I need my obsession right now becos I am in transition from one part of my life to another. I love Mr. Depp with that deep and abiding respect and lust any good crusher feels for the crushee (lord, can't believe I just typed that silly word). He is my coping device and this all hinges on me having a clean, light, airy place to play, which is here. I can bear any number of things, I am a human with a good mind and a burning desire to be, exist, live in this world and when I hit that 87th snag in the first hour of my day, I embrace my pirate, I love her (and him) and I "gird up my loins and ready for battle". I defy anyone to attempt to separate me and my obsession (think Don Juana Demarco, only without the greatest lover part). That old bumper sticker, too much of a good thing is not enough. Yep.
LTTigers, strong a person as you be, capable and organized and bright as the new penny, if you wanted to, you would stop this breath of your obsession and never go back to this love. My question is who blew smoke up your dress and told you this ought to occur. My criteria on this is as always, are you hurting children, old people, animals or yourself? If the answer is no, then nobody has the right to tell me to do differently.
My first ex taught me how to play when we got together and I love him for that every day even now. You and the other folks here have helped me learn to play again, my rehab, and I give thanks.
I think I understand what you mean, Tex. For me, life can get so busy and complicated, coming on here to "play" is like a refuge, it centers you. For a while, my obsession with Pirates and Johnny use to overpower me sometimes - I liked it so much, I assumed everyone liked it that much. After lots of weird looks and some awkward conversations, I quickly found out I was wrong. Coming onto these forums and meeting all of you lovely girls and women was so great for me, now I still love Johnny and POTC, but its not such a huge part of my life anymore.
I understand, Tigers, I can't get over my obsession either - trust me, I've tried. It ain't gonna happen anytime soon, though. Might as well ride the wave and enjoy the experience - who knows when the ride will be over? 😛
oh yes...i've told you all before....the tragedy that happen in my family that drove me to obsess over Pirates and Johnny....only 2 weeks after DMC's release......before then I was a "normal" wife and mother leading a normal life.....my obsession got so bad last fall, that my husband did make me feel guilty about it..so now I try to do it as quietly as can be...men don't understand and they never will......it's not like I'm going to walk out on the street today and meet johnny....so my obsession with him and Pirates...as you all say...is my therapy, my escape from reality, my hobby, so to speak.....and I love it!
there is just something about Johnny in this picture that gives me butterflies and makes me just go gah-gah!!!!...smoldering chocolate eyes, slight twitch in his smile, white crisp shirt, bare chest, those lovely chains he wears, those hands...such beautfiul hands.......OMG.....I LOVE JOHNNY!!!!!

What an Honor it would be if i could do with Johnny what we did in my dream!! (no not like that...lol it was sweet) I still remember most of it...I literally sat down with him and had a nice deep conversation! drinking wine and we were on what looked like a veranda with a wooden celing that u can still see the gloomy sky through and there were vines everywhere (with pretty colorful flowers) on reALLy comfy patio chairs with a small wooden table and a single rose on it and the bottle of wine next to it. The veranda we were on overlooked a lake, or ocean or some body of water but it was very cool so we were in nice warm fall clothes (lol..n seriously i cant forget how stylish we both looked) he was been overwhelmingly charming and though it was a gloomy day the flowers looked very bright and colorful(as if it were spring) ...Anywhoo it was really nice and i didnt feel nervous at all...it just felt right! It was a pleasent dream i woke happily and at peace! I wish my dream comes true. 😍

Tigers, you're on a roll! Beautiful pics of the beautiful one! I love the nipple pic, lmao!! Johnny's body fat is very low - look at his toned arm and upper abs - I can't believe he's 44. He's not too bulky nor skinny. Really just right. I can't stand guys who are too big.
