TAKE a good long look at Johnny Depp girls, because the heart-throb actor has announced he's set to quit Hollywood.
The 43-year-old says he's giving up movies when he hits 50 because he's worried his ageing appearance could affect the way fans see him.
"I won't last in film much after I turn 50," he said.
"People go on about how well I look for my age, but what happens when it all drops? I could end up as the Cliff Richard of film."
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star has never been a huge fan of Hollywood, choosing to live in France with long-term partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children, Lily Rose, seven, and four-year-old Jack.
He once told Germany's Stern magazine he thought his homeland was "dumb".
"America is dumb, it's like a dumb puppy that has big teeth that can bite and hurt you, aggressive," he said.
Earlier this month, it was reported Depp was mulling a move to Britain.
The actor has bought a £500,000 house in Bath and has been seen looking around local schools with his partner Vanessa Paradis.
Depp has lived in Paradis' native France since the birth of their daughter Lily-Rose seven years ago, but now the couple appear keen to move to England.
The pair - who also have a four-year-old son Jack - fell in love with the city while Johnny was filming the movie Chocolat in 2000.
This is not the first time Johnny has revealed a desire to leave France.
Earlier this month, it was reported he was moving to the Bahamas.
The actor discovered the idyllic islands after filming the Pirates of the Caribbean movies there.
He said: "We want to spend a lot more time there in the future because it's a completely different way of life. It will be our home base."
Although the actor cannot decide where to settle down, he has made it clear he will never return to his homeland.
Okay this is another rumour about this! I am starting to get worried!!! I don't know how I would cope if he retired so soon!
That's really insulting. I mean what will he do? It's like saying our parents are too old and no one cares. And that if we're not too old that we don't even matter anyway. I wonder who asked. He had to say something. It's a good thing he put that block on, I guess? But, you really know what I think. I guess it explains what I just said @ the pix. I just, if I may say, do not actually go on liking what people do concerning these issues, like .. ?
I guess it makes sense.. ? He's quite a big star, just not with Oscars. What about the other older actors? What does this mean? And with the part @ not coming back to the US. That's all ppl function on. Hollywood..
Being as the world is, I was considering starting in 5 years just in minor films and then stop and have life after I make my contribution, but really something different.. It sounds like how I felt moving from and to FL for 10 yrs.

oh yes Miz Iheart, that would be babyface Nelson--shooting cows--Man, those are some smokin' pics--also there's about 10 different regular vids of him in Wisconsin. He looks tough as nails in the long overcoat and hat--it's like he's finally getting to wear his kinda clothing--scarf, hat, long coat-suit? Makes my little heart go pittypat!!
