Interesting thoughts on the next race that took place after those scans:
-Makkari won, but was trapped in a state of speed. And couldn't interact with anyone in the universe anymore. Only very fast speedsters who could travel light or warp speed, and celestial beings. Runner is able to go into this state of speed as well but chooses not to.
-So basically Runner is as fast as you can possibly go without becoming trapped in a state of elevated speed outside the normal universe.
-But that race/comic also had crap like it being noted that no one ever actually goes faster than the speed of light, because light "can go whatever speed it wants". This was the one annoying thing about Gruenwald's Quasar, he'd basically try to sneak in retcons for how superpowers worked in the MU that basically every single other writer and comic would simply ignore, like his "no one really has super strength in space, it's all psionics".
Also in the first race they stated that they have to be "running". meaning their feet have to touch the ground every so often.
That doesn't apply to interstellar travel were warp speed is concerned.
Traveling in space(with no floor)
Like going from galaxy to galaxy in seconds. ex. When runner heard Moondragon's crys from across light years away, and was there in seconds/minutes.
Now that I see the whole race story, I see its full of PIS, CIS, and dumb nonsense. 🙂 Due mainly to the fact that it was written by Gruenwald who is an idiot.
