Northstar vs Nightwing

Guys. Chill. This was fun to read, even though it was sooo wrong at so many points, lets go back to that. Can't we all just join hands and sing koom-by-ya?

Even If Nightwing uses his ninja skills up on Northstar, Northstar's reaction would be much faster than Nightwing can handel. Northstar powers makes him one of the fastest people on the planet, plus he has a measure of super strength (1-2 ton range), super speed, endurance, tough skin, and he is a member of both the X-Men, and Alpha Flight. and has extensively trained with both teams. he would hit Nightwing about 20-30 times b4 Dick even has a chance to fully come out of the shadows.

I dont think you truly understand, nethier Nightwing nor anyone whith similar training would just openly walk up and fight. He was trained by the best, he knows to find out all he can about his enemy and go in undetected and take him out quickly and quietly.

IF you remove a key component like that then its NOT Nightwing hes fighting. For characters like this allot of their power is in how they fight.

But they will do that, because otherwise it would just be unfair to have Nightwing be the only one who actually knows that he is in a fight and give him extra time to hide around.

Nightwing's fighting style includes sneaking around all the time? No, it doesn't. For VAST majority of time he goes head on.

It is Nightwing he is fighting. It's just that both combatants don't have any help for them, but they fight with their own abilities. You can't give one character one-sided preptime just because he could not win otherwise. 😂 That's the whole point of being a VERSUS match.

No your making it unfair to Nightwing because then he is at a great disadvantage. Its as unfair to him as giving him prep time is to the other guy.

Its why its a bad match up.

yes and taking away key compenents of how NW fights just becuase you hate the character is unfair.

There is no way to do this fight fairly, thats why its a bad match up.

Nobody is taking anything away from Nightwing, at least nothing that they are not also taking away from the other side

yes you are, IF you take away Nightwings training which is essentially his powers then you have to take away NS powers as well or its not a fair fight.

Yes but in his case in central to how he fights.Thats why Nightwing and Tim Drake survived unlike Jason Todd. They planned their attack and go tthe element of suprize on their enemies.

No it's not. It would be unfair to him if the other guy would start from different place, but he does not. Neither can sneak up to each other.

Nightwing's abilities simply do not let him beat his opponent in straight and fair fight.

It's a bad match up, but it is not "unfair" fight.

I don't think your understanding how the forums work here DR. Regardless of how you say Bat-family has been trained to wait and plan thats all a non-factor in this matchup unless the thread starter clarifies it. Otherwise its a h2h FIGHT with both combatants using their respective powers/skills to their full potential to win.

That said this is an bad matchup because Northstar is waay superior to NW in terms of powers. Realistically Dick can't hope to hang with him
