That's not even close to what the scans depicted. It's nothing but pure hyperbole that it was equal to the weight of the planet. You've got NO proof. If it did, Earth would've fallen out of its orbit. I've seen the scans. Nice try. Midgard serpent DID NOT = the weight of the planet. Just drop it. You have no proof.

I actually haven't stated if it did or didn't. I just said that the name earth Serpent leads some to believe that the Snake weighed as much as the earth.
So now were allowed to use real world logic in comics?

From the scans, it doesn't look like the serpent weighs as much as the earth. but becuz it says Thor broke the serpents grasp, it can be assumed that if it was applying pressure like a real snake, thor was actually fighting against the pressure of the snakes hold. Which may have been greater than any weight the earth had. at any rate, the snake was able to hold onto the earth. It's pressure must have been enormous. if we were to do the match on what a python or snake like that can do, and then multiply it on a planet lvl, we would see that thor was prolly moving more than the earth's weight when you add in the pound of pressure per sq inch in with the serpents actual weight.

Considering the snakes counter pull/strength .Thor lifted the snake that was probably 3X the earths weight. 💃

Thank you for putting that into words for me. Even if the snake didn't weigh as much as the Earth the pressure applied may have boosted the weight to equal or above what the earth weighs.

There is no doubt about it. I never saw that comic, but looking at the scans, the snake was fighting back. And it even says that thor broke the snakes hold. he was pulling the weight of the snake as well as pulling against the pressure of the snake's grip. Someone who is good at math can take a python's pressure per squar in against a human being, and then multiply that by the size and weight of the earth,and that would tell us the tale.
