Captain America's Shield

just a few questions I've been wondering for a while

1. Has a magnetic attack by a machine or villain ever simply snatched Cap shield from his hand or while it was in the air?

2. Has Cap ever survived a Nuke or nuke type level attack by simply hiding behind his shield?

1) Doom did, forget the issue though.

2) Come on, lets use some common sense on that one...

1.) Mags can, I wouldnt be suprised if Doom did 😬

2.) Well he did survive Torch's nova flame, when he was like 30 or 50 yards away and he was completely behind his sheild

Agreed. Even if it managed to withstand a nuclear blast, I think the radiation will kill cap.

A nuke wouldnt destroy the Sheild 😐

Cap's sheild is even more powerful than Adamantium.

I think Adamantium has lost value over the years. before it was a rare metal, Now too many people can find it.

anyone have a scan of this?

Secret wars when Ultron snatches Torch and he has to go nova and Cap quite near them. (in the issue Heroes strike back at the bad guys, and capture them all.)

a doppelganger of mags took the shield from him in the acts of vengeance.

it could survive a nuke, but cap would be sterile
