Noone would die though. In real life being an assassin is about killing people. In games it's about wearing kinky outfits and just generally being a badass and kicking people in the face and stuff.

I love that rule. To be fair though, there are plenty of VG blokes that don't wear an awful lot. Shao khan, johnny cage, bruce from tekken etc. Your sterotype lady assassin type wears sexy outfits, but doesn't always show a lot of bare flesh.
Also, the rule about being "half as strong" is bollocks too, since in fighting games, everything is supposed to be equal. (dan is different)
I don't know. In most fighting games, the goal of the game maker is to have it such that all the characters are around about the same level. I guess if you're talking in terms of the game's storyline, then there's usually your male super monster boss character, and a male hero character that's supposed to be able to beat them though.
