I thought the same thing, since I did order "Red Oak", but me and a friend struck them together, its definitely wood underneath, still queried it though!

I don't trust a guy with weapons if he can't even spell a simple word like "dragon".

I just don't understand why he bought 2 of each... surely one is enough unless you become really good...

Meh, sparred with my brother for about 15 minutes, no exactly striking hard at all, the one he was using got dented to holy hell and snapped, and mine is fine hardly even marked...

I'll goto a real Bokken website next time. 😐
