As was said, there was some PIS there (more CIS in my opinion), but it doesn't make it less canon.

That wasn't the only team he's taken on though, he's taken on multiple incarnations of the Titans, he's taken on JLAers outside of that single story, one on one or two at a time, and held his own. Deathstroke was created as a team wrecker.
