Because her PR rep said so? I think cops are extra careful about procedure when dealing with hi-profile types. Ask Mel Gibson. They probably had excellent cause for hauling her in.

Anyway if found guilty (which she probably is if not alcohol then something else I'm sure) she should get the standard punishment I would imagine.

If it wasn't alcohol, then that's even worse. Drunk drivers are people who only think of themselves and she's the paragon of that.
