"You have always followed your own path, Kellan," says Grevor. "For good or ill. But you have NEVER defied your instincts."
The police pick you up soon afterwards. The trail for now is cold.
Moran bids you thanks and goodbye. He lost too many men in that fight but at least the Dark Siders have been driven off for good, and they failed to get what they wanted here. Moran is badly shaken- his world has been turned upside down by all this. The wreckage- physical, mental and political- could take years to clear up.
You have been issued warrants for the arrest of Persis and Ascar. Persis is wanted for counts of terroism and murder, not to mention being an obvious Dark Sider.
Ascar is wanted ONLY for fleeing the Jedi. You cannot seem to find anything else to hold him on. It is not illegal to be what he is, nor did he commit any other crimes that you saw. An exhsuative search of his offices by the police finds nothing- except ONE thing that Moran tells you.
"The file's have been deleted, but we found the programme Ascar devised to work with that Astrolabe thingy you wanted. At some point in the last few days he used that programme with cogent data."
This means Ascar is probably the only one who has ever had both the maps AND the Astrolabe, and has used them. HE knows where the Mausoleum is.
The police also find the registation details for Persis and Majora at the Dojo- your mysterious Mogarians, and the ones who killed the man outside the dojo. The crime is closed without a motive being established. This is unsurprising, as there is none. Persis and Majora killed him for fun.
As for the Astrolabe, Persis has it. Another reason to find him.
Grevor and Corelay will leave you now, of course. Grevor has his own missions to take Corelay on training with. He trusts you will show due dilligence in the rest of your mission, Gundy- and implores to go give it up if it looks like you will EVER do more harm than good by keeping up the pursuit.
Your 'reward' for your success in this story is choice- whereas the Dark Siders are compelled as to where they must go next, your group can choose. You will not make the decision about how to split until the start of the next episode, but you can see your options now.
You must find Ascar. He MAY be dangerous, and you have an outstanding warrant for him. You doubt he will give up. And if he continues to train people like Persis and Majora, chaos will result. Above all, he knows the location of the Mausoleum. He could be your best lead to stop the Dark Siders if they find it themselves.
As Marcus has discovered, Ascar has a vast amount of contacts with the Hutts. it is most likely he will flee to Hutt space. Your first port of call in hus pursuit will be Nar Shadda.
You must find Persis. He is DEFINITELY dangerous, violent and uncontrolled. Who knows how many more people he will kill? And he has the Astrolabe, possibly the most dangerous thing there is right now.
As Marcus also discoverd, Persis' shady criminal background is from a nearby planet named Tartarus, a crime-ridden part of the Republic currently the subject of some sort of Senatorial investigation. It is estimated that the Tartarus region is the source of 1/3rd of Inner Core smuggling operations. It makes a fortune for crininal syndicates but repeated attempts have failed to curb it. Persis will find sanctuary here, sanctuary you must break.
You must find Kuylen. You MUST find Kuylen. There is no knowing what he otherwise may do. As for Kuylen, you have but one lead- Belseraphon, the homeworld of the Miramar. There is no way Kuylen could have afforded the services of even a few of them, let alone their army. He must have been there, maybe recently. It is the one lead you have.
Nar Shadda, Tartarus, Belseraphon. And you can be sure the Dark Siders will be at these places as well.
But for once, you have them. You have set back their plans. THEY are now the ones who must achieve. You need merely stop them. All you have to do, is give chase...
