Other genres of music

Which, 'non-mainstream' genres of music do you like.

The kind which are not usually played on the radios, are not well known with all communities, strange...experimental...etc.
Some more than the other.

I quite like the followwing -

Psytrance
Tribal
Offencive Noise Music
Brake-beat

My housemate is currently trying to get some 'Obscura' music, which i am very curious about.

Any other weird, underground and non-mainstream types of music, (native Thai music, maybe) that you like and would recommend thers to listen?

The Breath of Fire 3 OST is crack. Get that shit.

REAL Funk

so what artists would you cover with offensive noise?

a couple of artists i would consider definately un-mainstream but i like are;
- Merzbow
- 1000 travels of jawaharlal
- 2nd gen
- Horse the band
- the tony danza tapdance extravaganza

I actually have some Native American tribal stuff on my PC. Also a few wiccan tracks, it's hardly one of my preferred genres but it's good stuff.

T.T.D.T.E are rather hilarious. They remind me a bit of Dillinger.

-AC

I discovered Sainkho, a not very known singer from Tuva (somewhere in Siberia I think).

She has an awesome voice, an eccentric personality and some great songs. You have to give it more than one try though.
