"Hardly an emissarie of the honorable Kuylen, I can assure you." Quam said with a sensual smile. "He just brought me along to check out if you're for real as a Sith collector. He paid me handsomely for it as well. But then, the very pleasure of having a look at your most interesting collection was perhaps the most rewarding part of it all."
"I have known Kuylen longer than yourself, I doubt he needed any more proof, especially with him being quite the antiques hunter himself... glad as I am that you like the collection...
"Well then. If you aren't here as an emissary, what DOES deing you here? You have some business to discuss? I'm a very busy man, you understand."

Galder and Takuan, leaving the crime scene almost untouched, the Prefect withdraws and takes most of the police with him save those on guard at the entrace to the alley.
Ok, this is a rather gloomy alley with one nice wall- the side of the dojo- and one old, cracked wall- from the older building next to it.
At first glance you see nothing.
At second glance you see the body of the Gran on it's side, half-leaning against the dojo wall.
At thrid glance you see the OTHER half of his body, that is a diagnonal; half of the chest and his legs, a short distance away from the rest of him. Yikes...
(WARNING WARNING! Do NOT leave evidence of yourself at the crime scene!)
Ok, Galder, you make several quick appraisals of the crime scene, and are soon very worried.
First of all, the wound is cauterised. That COULD mean a heavy blaster shot, which is what the police could be thinking- but YOU have seen lightsabre wounds before and this is CERTAINLY one.
Your immediate reaction is 'Jedi', and you start to panic. But then you think, and while you are no Jedi expert you know for sure that they do not hack people in half in alleyways. You calm down. Then you remember that SOMEONE with a sabre did this and all remaining possibilites are worrying. You start to worry again. It also occurs to you that if these police DO identify that as a sabre wound, the Jedi will come. Luckily, it's hard to identify sabre wounds unless you have seen one or are looking for one. The longer this body is left here without being examined, the better. Still, why IS it being left here? Seems like sloppy police procedure!
While you are worrying about that you note the piece of wood with a burn mark at the end near his body. Confused, you take another look, and soon identify it as half of one of the training swords from the dojo. A quick search reveals the other half, also with a burn mark at one end, nearby.
You put the pieces together. This guy was in a lightsabre duel... armed with a wooden practice sword. It was a quick fight.
And it makes absolutely NO SENSE! Who the heck would be dumb enough to do that?
And who killed him?
And why are the police acting so strangely?
Heck! Someone is coming! You dart back inside.
This is screwy..., thinks Galder as he shuts the door and heads into the cloakroom. Who could have done it? None of my partners would be stupid enough to do it, as Kuylen would have us killed, and Kuylen himself wouldn't do something so obvious! Quam killed Krisha on Damagran, and Jedi don't hack people in half and cause a crime scene! Galder rubs some water on his face from a sink in the cloak room. How about that Mogarian that left in such a hurry... Galder thinks as he remembers he didn't go outside the door, just peeked through it.
Yes, Mogarians... not a species you have heard of.
But if he killed that man (which would lead to some worrying questions), it can't have been while you were following him- he would have had no time to casually kill someone out there in the most obscure of circumstances.
You just can't get it out your head... a wooden sword versus a lightsabre... you would suspect it were a faked scene laid out there, if only you could think of any reason for such a strange thing.
Who else could have done it? he ponders as he walks out of the cloakroom. He looks around, as if waiting for something, then walks back into the cloakroom.
As soon as he's sure he's alone, Galder takes out his comlink. "Rura, Takuan, let's investigate a bit more before we head back to Kuylen. You won't believe what I have just seen..."
